ICAI Alwar Branch (2025–26)

The Alwar Branch of ICAI continues to uphold its commitment to professional excellence, student empowerment, and social responsibility through a series of thoughtfully curated programs and initiatives. Throughout the year, the branch has organized technical seminars, CPE workshops, student competitions, leadership programs, and community welfare activities aimed at enhancing professional competence and fostering holistic development. Professional Development & CPE Programs

1) Full Day Workshop on Bank Branch Audit

Date: 28 March 2025
CPE Hours: 6 Hours
Participants: 59 Members

The branch organized a comprehensive full-day workshop focusing on the practical challenges faced during Bank Branch Audits. The technical sessions covered automation-related concerns, IRAC norms, documentation standards, and regulatory updates relevant to audit professionals.

Expert insights were shared to equip members with practical knowledge and risk-assessment approaches. The workshop served as a valuable platform for discussion,

clarification of technical queries, and strengthening professional competence in audit practices.

2) MSME Mahotsav

Date: 27 June 2025
CPE Hours: 4 Hours
Participants: 42

The MSME Mahotsav was organized with the objective of enhancing awareness regarding financial management, compliance requirements, and growth opportunities in the MSME sector. The session emphasized the critical role of Chartered Accountants in guiding MSMEs toward sustainable development.

Distinguished speakers shared insights on government schemes, financial planning strategies, and regulatory frameworks. The event provided practical exposure and encouraged knowledge exchange among professionals serving this vital sector of the economy.

Studentt Initiatives Development Ini (CICASA)

1) Meet & Greet Session – CICASA Alwar

Date: 18 March 2025

An interactive Meet & Greet session was organized to welcome students and introduce them to the upcoming academic and personality development initiatives of the branch. The session focused on motivating students to actively participate in professional activities and skill-building programs.

The interaction created a positive environment for networking, mentorship, and better alignment with the objectives of the Chartered Accountancy profession.

2) CA Students National Talent Search – Branch Level Quiz

Date: 31 May 2025

As part of the CA Students National Talent Search initiative, the branch conducted a competitive quiz event to enhance analytical thinking and conceptual clarity among students. The competition encouraged participants to apply theoretical knowledge in a dynamic environment.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and fostered a spirit of healthy competition, academic excellence, and confidence building.

3) Elocution & Essay Competition

Date: 01 June 2025

To promote effective communication and structured thinking, the branch organized Elocution and Essay Competitions for students. Participants presented their perspectives on professional and contemporary topics, showcasing articulation skills and intellectual depth.

The initiative provided students with a platform to improve public speaking abilities and develop confidence essential for their professional journey.

4)Residential RRC Trip – Rishikesh

Date: 07–10 June 2025

A residential seminar and team-building trip to Rishikesh was organized under the RRC initiative. The program combined professional learning sessions with leadership- building and collaborative activities.

Through interactive discussions, motivational sessions, and group engagements, students gained exposure beyond academics, enhancing teamwork, communication, and leadership capabilities.

5) Sports Competitions

Date: 24 January 2025

Under the banner of CICASA (Committee for ICAI Students’ Activities) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, various indoor and outdoor sports competitions were organized on 24 January 2025 to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and student engagement.

The competitions included Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, and Carrom. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and fostered healthy competition, discipline, and team spirit among participants.

The initiative reflected the Branch’s commitment towards encouraging balanced development beyond academics.

6) Box Cricket Tournament

Date: 25 January 2025

A Box Cricket Tournament was organized on 25 January 2025 as part of the student development initiatives of the Branch.

The tournament received an overwhelming response from students and created a vibrant and energetic sporting atmosphere. The event encouraged teamwork, coordination, and healthy competition among participants.

This initiative further strengthened the spirit of camaraderie and holistic development among CA students.

Social Responsibility & Community Initiatives

1) International Day of Yoga Celebration

Date: 21 June 2025

The branch celebrated International Day of Yoga to promote physical wellness and mental well-being among members and students. The session included guided yoga practices, breathing techniques, and wellness activities.

The initiative reinforced the importance of maintaining work-life balance and healthy lifestyles within the professional community.

2) Health Checkup Camp

Date: 25 June 2025

A Health Checkup Camp was organized to promote preventive healthcare awareness. Members and their families were encouraged to undergo routine health screenings as part of responsible lifestyle practices.

The initiative reflected the branch’s commitment to the overall well-being of its fraternity beyond professional development.

3) Blood Donation Camp

Date: 26 June 2025

A voluntary blood donation drive was conducted in collaboration with a charitable blood bank. The initiative aimed to contribute to community welfare and support healthcare needs in society.

Members and students actively participated, demonstrating social responsibility and humanitarian values.

4) Tree Plantation Drive

Date: 28 June 2025

The branch organized a plantation drive to promote environmental sustainability and ecological awareness. Participants actively planted saplings and pledged to support green initiatives.

The activity symbolized the branch’s commitment toward sustainable development and environmental responsibility.

5)Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive

Date: 29 June 2025

In alignment with the Swachh Bharat initiative, a cleanliness drive was conducted with participation from members and students. The activity focused on promoting civic awareness and community involvement.

The initiative reinforced the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining cleanliness and public hygiene.

Commemorative Event

1) 77th CA Day Celebration & Flag Hoisting Ceremony

Date: 01 July 2025

The 77th CA Day was celebrated with pride and enthusiasm at the Alwar Branch. The event commenced with a formal flag hoisting ceremony followed by a commemorative gathering of members and students.

The celebration highlighted the significant contribution of the Chartered Accountancy profession toward economic growth, transparency, and nation building. The strong participation reflected unity, pride, and professional solidarity within the branch. Concluding Note
